Our Story
My name is James Cutts Sr., and I am a native of St. Louis, Missouri. I am currently living in Huntsville, Alabama. I am a retired veteran and enjoy spending time with my grandkids. I find great victory in cooking for families and friends because it feeds my soul.
I received my Culinary Arts degree in 2020 from Drake State University and I am enrolled in a Business class to understand the business aspect since JAC’s Barbecue was established in 2015.
JAC’s restaurant, culinary degree and military experience has allowed me to accomplish over 20 years of comprehensive experience working in the foodservice industry. Adept at strictly monitoring kitchen activities and meeting health code standards. Specialties in slow cooking varieties of food on a charcoal grill. Slow- cooking on a grill creates a tasty taste that will give you a “ finger lickin’ bone suckin ‘ good” meal.
